His journey with Jumeirah began as the Associate Director of Sales at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, where he honed his expertise in sales and marketing. In these roles, El-Masri demonstrated his ability to drive sales and implement effective marketing strategies, earning him the brand’s “Rising Star” award in both 2021 and 2022. His most notable achievement came when he served as the Complex Director of Sales at Madinat Jumeirah. In this role, El-Masri was responsible for overseeing all international leisure markets across four premium 5-star hotels. He managed and implemented strategies for rooms revenue growth, leading his team to significant success and enhancing the overall market position of the properties.

El-Masri’s appointment comes at a time when Jumeirah Olhahali Island is looking to further cement its status as a leading luxury destination in the Maldives. The resort, renowned for its contemporary 67-villa setup, offers some of the largest entry-level villas in the Maldives, complete with expansive rooftop terraces and private infinity pools.
