Following the inauguration of Carnival Jubilee, Galveston witnessed a significant milestone as it welcomed its 10 millionth guest, marking a remarkable expansion of Carnival’s presence at the port. This expansion journey commenced with the christening of Carnival Jubilee, the cruise line’s latest flagship to grace Galveston’s shores. The momentum persists with the introduction of Carnival Miracle in October, marking the culmination of a comprehensive four-ship deployment strategy. By year-end, Carnival anticipates a 20 percent surge in guest capacity compared to the previous year, anticipating over 800,000 guests.
Since pioneering the inaugural year-round cruise program from Galveston in 2000, Carnival has retained its position as the foremost cruise operator sailing year-round from the port.
