The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) is hosting its fully booked 2024 Travel Advisor Conference in Dallas, where 1,400 industry professionals, including travel advisors and suppliers, have gathered. This event marks a pivotal moment for professionals across all levels, featuring a diverse array of educational sessions, networking opportunities, and a comprehensive trade show with over 200 participants. Notably, the event has been refreshed from the former ASTA Global Convention and includes a host of new features, such as three distinct educational tracks designed to cater to different levels of industry experience and an opportunity for advisors to attain their Verified Travel Advisor certification during the conference.
The event will also spotlight a variety of prominent figures, including Venus Williams, a celebrated tennis icon and entrepreneur, who will deliver the keynote address. Other distinguished speakers include Chris Voss, a renowned former FBI Hostage Negotiator; Chris Nassetta, President of Hilton; Christine Duffy, President of Carnival Cruise Line; and Candace Bertotti, a respected lecturer from Harvard Business School.

Additionally, the conference will double as ASTA’s annual awards ceremony, recognizing outstanding contributions across the industry with accolades such as Consortium Partners of the Year, Host Agency Partner of the Year, and the Robert Duglin Chapter Excellence Award, among others. The ceremony will also feature the Entrepreneur of the Year Award, underwritten by the Dan and Gloria Bohan Foundation, alongside several other prestigious awards celebrating the achievements of travel advisors and industry partners.
