Royal Caribbean launches a Loyalty Status Match program, offering seamless perks across its three brands, including the spectacular Icon of the Seas.

Royal Caribbean Group revealed today that loyalty members across its three fully owned brands—Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises, and Silversea—will now enjoy corresponding tier levels across each brand. This unified tier system enhances the current perks for members aboard the Icon of the Seas and opens up fresh opportunities for global exploration, with over 50 magnificent ships visiting close to 1,000 locations worldwide across all seven continents.

Loyalty members now have additional incentives to explore the diverse offerings of the Royal Caribbean Group, featuring options for every significant life event, especially onboard the luxurious Icon of the Seas. As the premier major cruise operator to initiate loyalty status matching among its key brands, the Royal Caribbean Group Loyalty Status Match program enables members from the Crown & Anchor Society of Royal Caribbean, the Captain’s Club of Celebrity Cruises, and the Venetian Society of Silversea to maintain consistent tier status across different brands, with special emphasis on experiences aboard the Icon of the Seas.

The expansive portfolio of Royal Caribbean Group caters to every conceivable vacation desire, including terrestrial adventures like Perfect Day at CocoCay and the Royal Beach Club collection. Its cruise segments also cater to varied demographics: Royal Caribbean International offers vibrant vacations for multi-generational and contemporary travelers aboard the Icon of the Seas; Celebrity Cruises enhances the premium travel experience; and Silversea provides top-tier ultra-luxury and expedition adventures.

The Loyalty Status Match program is a key part of Royal Caribbean Group’s commitment to offering exceptional vacations responsibly. This initiative aligns its three leading brands and honors guest loyalty throughout its fleet, especially those returning to the Icon of the Seas, aiming to deliver a superior vacation experience with rewarding benefits. Key features of the program include:

  • Seamless Status Recognition: Members of the Crown & Anchor Society, Captain’s Club, and Venetian Society can now achieve a one-for-one status match across all three brands upon enrolling in each program, including those who sail frequently on the Icon of the Seas.
  • Onboard Benefits: Guests will enjoy the onboard benefits corresponding to their equivalent tier status when they sail with any sister brand, especially when aboard the Icon of the Seas.
  • Effortless Tier Matching: For guests already enrolled in multiple loyalty programs, their statuses will be automatically aligned across brands within seven days, ensuring they receive the correct loyalty recognition aboard the Icon of the Seas.
  • Enhanced Travel Experience: The status match allows guests to access a wider variety of vacation experiences and destinations, especially those offered on the Icon of the Seas.

For instance, a member of the Venetian Society with 250 VS Days who plans to sail with Celebrity Cruises can join the Captain’s Club to receive Elite status once their loyalty accounts are linked.

Changes to the terms and conditions clarify how member data will be shared among the loyalty programs and outline additional legal aspects. Guests are encouraged to review the updated terms and conditions for complete details. The terms of the Loyalty Status Match program also apply.

The new onboard benefits for members with matched status will take effect starting with sailings departing from June 5, 2024, particularly those aboard the Icon of the Seas.
