The Airport Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific and Middle East Air Connectivity Ranking 2023 places Doha second in the region for air connectivity, a measure based on destination range, service frequency, and connection quality. The ACI report indicates a continuous increase in air connectivity across the Middle East and recommends developing new airport infrastructures to accommodate future demands.
