MSC Cruises Joins Forces with Jerry Bruckheimer and Joseph Kosinski for New Racing Film

MSC Cruises is excited to announce its collaboration with the highly anticipated Formula 1® racing film, “F1,” produced by Apple Original Films, Jerry Bruckheimer, and directed by Joseph Kosinski. The film is scheduled for a global release in theaters and IMAX on June 27, 2025, in North America, and June 25, 2025, internationally, distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.

In the movie, the MSC Cruises logo will be prominently displayed, featured on the fictional APXGP car, team uniforms, and various racetrack scenes, integrating the brand seamlessly into the high-octane world of Formula 1®.

“F1” stars Brad Pitt as a retired driver making a dramatic return to Formula 1®, with Damson Idris playing his teammate on the fictional APXGP team. The film was shot during actual Grand Prix events, providing authentic and thrilling race sequences as the team competes against the sport’s elite. The star-studded cast also includes Academy Award nominee Kerry Condon, Academy Award winner Javier Bardem, Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe nominee Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia, and Samson Kayo.
